100 Days of South American Memories
From July 23 to October 30, 2016, I posted a photo everyday on Instagram using the hashtag #100daysofsouthamericanmemories. In each Instagram post, I explained the photo and shared a memory from my years living and traveling in South America. The posts ranged from history about ancient sites, descriptions of one of the many cultures in South America, or insights I gained from travel or living between two cultures. I wrote each post on my phone, which forced me to be a little more deliberate about what I was saying. I was pleasantly surprised by the ideas that flowed out of my fingers during this project, beyond the fun of revisiting the photos.
